The local art club, Artisimos, held their annual pre-judging for items chosen, qualifying them to go to the state Association of Nebraska Art Clubs (ANAC) state art contest in June. The judge was Alan J. Bartels, Assistant Editor of Nebraska Life Magazine. Over forty items were entered, and these ten pieces were chosen by Mr. Batels to go to the state contest.
